Senior Architect
We are looking to employ an Architect with a minimum of 4 years’ experience to work at our Practice in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham.
View full descriptionThe successful candidate should:
· have experience of medium to large scale projects and project running
· have sound design, technical and construction knowledge
· have an understanding of all RIBA stages, Building Regulations, and current British Standards
· be able to work independently and report directly to their project lead and their subsequent directors
· have experience of communicating and collaborating with other consultants and attendance at design team meetings
· have experience of client facing roles & responsibilities
· have an interest in business development
· have experience of delivering high end feasibility, concept, planning, tender and construction packages
· be able to demonstrate an understanding of, and proficiency in, Revit and the Adobe suite of programmes
· be able to liaise with appropriate authorities when producing documentation for statutory approval
Progression within the hierarchy of the Practice is encouraged for those demonstrating initiative and management potential and mentoring, training and personal development is an important part of our Practice ethos.
We are able to offer a variety of benefits including flexible working hours. Salary will be dependent on experience, but we regularly benchmark our salaries with the intention of paying equivalent or above our peers.

Weedon Architects are looking to employ an experienced Architectural Technician to work at our office in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham.

· have an understanding of all RIBA stages, Building Regulations, and current British Standards
· be able to work independently and report directly to their project lead and their subsequent directors

· be able to demonstrate an understanding of, and proficiency in, Revit and NBS Chorus
· be able to liaise with appropriate authorities when producing documentation for statutory approval
